An Egyptian Faience Ushabti
19th/20th Dynasty, 1292-1075 B.C.
holding hoes and seed sack and wearing a tripartite wig and diadem, the column of inscription and other details painted in purplish black, the inscription including the name of the owner, Pa-Sheri-en.
Height 13.3 cm.
French private collection, circa 1940s (based on mount)
acquired by the present owner at Drouot, Paris, in the late 1990s
