A George II carved mahogany window seat, circa 1755
in the manner of William Hallett, the scrolled padded ends and upholstered seat above a shaped foliate clasp-centred seat rail, with acanthus and bell-flower carved cabriole legs and bold scrolled feet, the reverse with shaped, simply scrolled apron matching the ends
