Comprising:


William Jefferson Clinton, one autograph letter signed ("Bill") and 16 typed letters signed ("Bill"; "Bill Clinton"), a number of the typed letters likely autopen or secretarial proxy signatures, ranging from 4 August 1993 to 27 February 2020, each one page, the autograph letter and 12 of the typed letters sent as president and on The White House letterhead, 4 of the typed letters sent after Clinton's presidential term and on William Jefferson Clinton letterhead. The autograph letter is dated "10–7" [1993] and reflects on his 22 September 1993 address on Health Care Reform: "Dear Paul 7 Joanne, Thanks for your note about the health care speech. It was a big part of why I wanted to be president. Come see us." Most of the typed letters are birthday greetings (10) or brief thank-you notes.


Jimmy Carter, 2 autograph letters signed and two typed letters signed ("Jimmy Carter"), the typed letters possibly autopen or secretarial proxy signatures, all post-presidential, ranging from 5 October 1991 to 8 May 2017, each one page on Jimmy Carter letterhead, all relating to the support of the Carter Center by the Newmans and Newman's Own.

George H. W. Bush, typed letter signed ("George Bush"), 5 January 1993, one page on The White House letterhead, congratulating the Newmans on their Kennedy Center Awards and thanking them for an inscribed copy of I Will Sing Life: Voices from the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.


Together with typed letters signed to Paul Newman and/or Joanne Woodward from Hillary Rodham Clinton (2) Edward M. Kennedy, Dan Quayle, and Katharine Hepburn, and some other ephemera.
