Bruno Vepkhvadze was born in Tbilisi (Georgia) in the family of the artist Giovanni Vepkhvadze. Bruno belongs to the 4th generation of artists in this family. Since Bruno’s childhood he has shown interest in art and started attending art school even as a child. After graduating high school in 2003, he attended the Tbilisi art school, Y. Nikoladze. He started participating in art exhibitions among professionals at this time. In 2005-2009 he continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Art of Tbilisi and in 2006 became a member of the Union of Artists of Georgia.


Bruno Vepkhvadze is most well-known for his intricate and vivacious still-lifes, winning Third Place Still Life with this painting of “Roman Spring” in the 16th International ARC Salon, as well as an Honorable Mention for his work “The Boy Who Lived.” He also won Third Place Still Life in the 12th International ARC Salon and has exhibited at the Museum of European Modern Art (MEAM), in Barcelona Spain, the Salmagundi Club, New York City, as well as many other venues.
