Sun Wentao

Concept of Artwork

I was born in the northeast of China, the black land is rolling and vast, and the wild meadows and forest wind and snow accompanied me when I grew up. In the blink of an eye, the tiger in the zoo is just the king of the cage, the prisoner of carnivores. The forest and the king are lost at the same time: there is a vastness in the mirror - there is also you and me.

About Sun Wentao (China)

Sun Wentao graduated in 2000 from the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts (now the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University). His representative works include "Paradoxical", "Rain Screen", "Wing Chun", "Youth Festival" series. In recent years, Sun Wentao's artistic sculptures and design works have participated in many large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad. His works are imaginative and can break the restrictions on design in the cold industrial age, and integrate the poetic and soft Chinese spirit.

我出生在中国的东北，黑色的土地起伏辽阔，原野草甸和森林风雪伴我长大。

转眼已是不惑之年，动物园里的老虎只是笼中之王，食肉的囚徒。森林与王者同时失神落魄：镜子里有辽阔 – 有你也要有我。
