Description
The Macallan 65 Year Old in Lalique, Six Pillars, Sixth Edition 46.3 abv NV
Bottle no. 227 of 450
After over a decade of collaboration, The Macallan 65 Years Old in Lalique decanter is the concluding chapter in the Six Pillars story of The Macallan and completes the collection of Lalique Six Pillars decanters . Introduced in 2016 and limited to 450 individually numbered bottles worldwide, the 65 year old whisky contained within the decanter is one of the oldest and rarest ever released by the distillery.
This final, stunning, decanter reflects the wonderfully rich, viscous and aromatic spirit that lies at the very heart of The Macallan. Inspired by the artistic genius of Rene Lalique’s legacy, Marc Larminaux, Creative Director for Lalique, based the design of the decanter around a single peerless drop of The Macallan, symbolising our most precious spirit. Made with a blown and pinched technique for which Lalique is renowned, the decanter captures and suspends The Macallan's Peerless Spirit. At 65 years old, the whisky encased in this crystal masterpiece is a true testament to the skill of each and every one of our craftsmen and a unique celebration of our unwavering commitment to sourcing, nurturing and maturing The Macallan single malt in exceptional oak casks.
Dark walnut.
Supremely balanced with comforting notes of honey-dipped Madagascan vanilla pods, cinnamon and Moroccan dates.
