Lovely luscious nose. Voluptuous and honied on the palate with a taste of tempting rich sultanas. Sweet and liqueurish. Full and plump, but less complex than the 1971 or the 1975. At 37 years old, it was all rich caramel, huge and voluptuous with flavours of dates and sultanas. One-dimensional in comparison with the greatest, but full on Yquem. In 2010 in Hong Kong, a perfect end to a perfect birthday dinner given by a very kind and generous host. Serena Sutcliffe, MW. WA 90
