MANUSCRIPT on paper, 409pp., small folio (258 x 182mm.), three folding diagrams with coloured illustrations signed T.M.F., showing the Ptolemaic, Tychonian and Copernican celestial systems, a further folding coloured diagram of the points of the compass, two indexes, a sheet of notes in Italian loosely inserted, contemporary vellum, some show-through from ink


Pujati (1733-1824), a Somascan priest, taught rhetoric and scripture at the Collegio Clementino in Rome in the 1760s. 


Other copies of this text are recorded; Sir Thomas Phillipps owned one (his ms no. 5478, Elementa geografica) and the University of Verona published a facsimile with commentary in 1993.
