Two albumen print photograph panoramas of Beirut, one in 2-parts (212 x 532mm.), the other in 4-parts (212 x 1120mm.), 4-part panorama slightly splitting at folds
INDIVIDUAL PHOTOGRAPHS
30 albumen print photographs of Damascus and Beirut (each c.220 x 287mm.), each photograph mounted on card, most with numbered captions in the negative and on the mount, occasional slight fading, light spotting to mounts
FINE EARLY PHOTOGRAPHS of Damascus and Beirut by Félix Bonfils (1831-1885), one of the leading pioneers of commercial photography in the Middle East, Bonfils moved to Beirut in 1867, where he opened a photographic studio known as Maison Bonfils.
