Flogging a Dead Horse was a compilation album released in February 1980. These sketches show initial ideas for the album sleeve in which Reid defaces the Pistols’ back catalogue, scrawling the album’s title over the covers for Never Mind the Bollocks and The Great Rock ’n’ Roll Swindle. This design was printed but rejected by Virgin before release.
