PRESENTATION COPY, 4to (349 x 261mm.), title-page, 48 fine hand-coloured lithographed plates, contemporary green morocco-backed cloth, spine with raised bands in six compartments, edges gilt, silk endpapers, light scattered spotting and browning, endpapers dampstained, upper joint starting to split
A presentation copy of this fine collection of lithographed flower drawings by the Grobon brothers, with a dedication from the artist/lithographer to the preliminary leaf: "Hommage respectueux de l'auteur | à Monsieur Stuart | Frédéric Grobon". A very rare publication, unrecorded by all the major bibliographies.
