The circular bowl engraved with arms and inscription and with stag head and ring handles, faceted baluster with key-pattern brackets, domed based, with four borders of running leaves, marked on base twice F.W. Cooper, Amity St NY
Height 11 in 28 cm 33 oz 1,026 g
The arms are those of Leland.
The inscription reads “To Francis Leland, from the Directors of the New York County National Bank as a mark of their high appreciation of his successful services as President January 1868” On the opposite side are the initials and date E L 1885
