The beautiful design on this poster was only used for a small double-bill release of My Neighbor Totoro and Grave of the Fireflies, although the artwork only features images from the film Totoro.

Very rare Japanese poster that hardly ever surfaces.

Hayao Miyazaki, one of the founders of Studio Ghibli, wrote and directed this film. Studio Ghibli, which was founded in 1985, has been responsible for making many magical animations. So popular and loved is Totoro that the studio use it as their mascot and logo.
