The film's distributors really went to town on the marketing of this film. Bob Peak was commissioned to design the poster campaign, and in addition to the main cinema poster, also designed these three special faux match posters. The posters advertised matches that took place in the film: New York v. Houston, Houston v. Madrid, and Tokyo v. Houston. The posters were sent to flagship cinemas to enhance their promotion of the film.

It is exceptionally rare to find a complete set of these Australian posters.

This film was directed by Norman Jewison, starring James Caan, John Houseman, and Maud Adams. It is set in a future world controlled by companies not countries, where the extremely violent sport known as Rollerball is used to control the population.
