In the 1920s and 1930s it was normal for film posters to be printed using the stone lithography technique. This was a very high quality method of printing, which is reflected in the fabulous image of Clara Bow.

Exceptionally rare. This poster, dating back to 1927, has only surfaced a few times.

This American silent romantic comedy was directed by Victor Fleming. The film stars Clara Bow, who plays Hula Calhoun, the daughter of a Hawaiian pineapple plantation owner. Hula sets her sights on a married English engineer, who has come to the island to supervise the building of a dam on her father's property. Clara Bow was an acclaimed actress who rose to stardom in the silent film era of the 1920s, and successfully went over to talkies. She was a huge star, who personifies the Roaring Twenties.
