Realart Pictures was a film distribution company founded in 1948, who specialised in the re-release of older films, in particular those from Universal Pictures. When the films were re-released new vibrant advertising material was created, which was different from the original studio release material.

This is a very sought-after Horror piece that does not surface very often.

This science fiction horror film was directed by James Whale, and adapted from the 1927 play, which was based on Mary Shelley's 1818 novel of the same name. Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive), an obsessed scientist, creates a human monster (Boris Karloff) out of body parts from corpses he has dug up. "A monster science created but could not destroy. The walking nightmare that frightened the world!"
