A preparatory drawing is in the Pinacoteca Civica, Alessandria.1 Migliara exhibited paintings of the subject at the Brera in 1821, 1824 and 1831. The only other known painting by Migliara of the subject is in Berlin and is dated 1825 (see Gozzoli 1977, p. 68).
