Anonymous sale, Salzburg, Dorotheum, 17 April 2019, lot 30 (as Circle of Bernardo Bellotto).

This view is closely related to the two large-scale paintings by Pietro Bellotti's brother and teacher, Bernardo Bellotto, today in the Gemäldegalerie, Dresden (Gal.-Nr. 607),1 and North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh (inv. no. 52.9.146).2 Bellotti painted another version of this scene, taken from the right bank of the Elbe, also including the Augustus Bridge and the Hofkirche, as well as the Frauenkirche, in a painting of slightly larger dimensions, which was with Rafael Valls, London in 2014.3
