The artist signed this artwork at the bottom alongside the dancing figures on this one-of-one.

In 2020, CityKids engaged IMMUSE, an award-winning AR & NFT studio, to digitally photograph the original artwork, resulting in a nearly 6GB, 2-billion pixel, high-resolution photographic file. For the first time, this high-res digital file makes After Keith Haring +CityKids “Speak On Liberty” fully searchable online. Thus, inspired by Haring’s 1986 vision of Lady Liberty and the poignant expressions on liberty and freedom by CItyKids then, we have embarked on a renewed mission using art to engage the next generation of young people in expressing their thoughts on liberty and freedom, and other topics of vital interest to them today. In keeping with Keith’s playful style, interest in working with kids, and many collaborative art

projects, the CityKids team developed an interactive puzzle strategy for this NFT collection, where the original artwork will be segmented into 385 1-of-1 pieces. The bottom 1-of-1 section will be sold at auction with Sotheby’s, with the remaining 384 pieces sold for 1 ETH each later in December. The original masterpiece was a collective effort between Keith, CityKids, and 1000 teenagers - so both the CityKids Foundation and The Keith Haring Foundation felt that this work deserves to also be owned collectively through the NFT collection. The puzzle concept leans even further into the playfulness of the shared experience - allowing collectors to combine pieces, to work with others to reconstitute the whole, and to provide a wholly unique digital experience around the original art. Anytime a collector manages to forge 4 or more adjacent pieces together, they will be eligible to claim a custom wooden puzzle of the whole image to keep for themselves or gift to another.

CityKids has teamed up with Deepak Chopra’s web3 accelerator Seva.Love to support the launch. Proceeds from the NFT drop will benefit The CityKids Foundation to continue it work to seek and fund new art-inspired, youth-driven programming on the issues most important to their lives building upon Keith Haring’s legacy.
