Les Bourgeois de Calais: five bronzes

Height range of figures: 17 to 18 ¾ in. 43.2 to 47.7 cm.   

Conceived between 1887 and 1895, these reductions conceived between 1895-1903 and these casts made in 1927-28 by the Alexis Rudier Foundry.


These works will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l’oeuvre sculpté d’Auguste Rodin currently being prepared by the Comité Rodin in collaboration with Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive numbers 2007-1278B, 2007-1279B, 2007-1280B, 2007-1281B and 2007-1282B.
