Shara Hughes is one of the remarkable emerging artists on the current market. The central subject in her work is her unique presentation of contemporary landscape, flowers and garden in a strong and bright colour palette created in a fascinating conjunction of nature, abstraction, a psychedelic representation of a surreal and imaginary reality. The present work, Get It Right 2, is a striking example of the artist’s acclaimed landscape vision. Appearing to be of a classic landscape composition with threes and fields of flowers, the elaborated brush strokes in juxtaposition with the rich almost supernatural colours draw the viewer into a fantastic world when experiencing the work.
