incised Rodin and the foundry mark F. Barbedienne Fondeur
51.8 by 67 by 32.5 cm; 20 ⅜ by 26 ⅜ by 12 ¾ in.
conceived in 1884; this reduction conceived in 1900; this example executed between 1908-1914
This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l'oeuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin currently being prepared by the Comité Rodin in collaboration with Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 1997-717B.
