香港，一畫廊
「吳冠中先生在八、九十年代畫黃土高原，一眼望去，溝壑縱橫像老虎斑紋，先生說可稱之為老虎高原；後來先生帶着小孫孫去動物園觀察虎群，隨後陸續創作了四件八平呎《老虎》，多經我手流傳到收藏家手中。
後來一直有人追着我要《老虎》，我對先生說能否為我再畫一件非賣品的《老虎》，我拿去製作版畫，以版畫滿足愛好者需求。於是先生又畫了一件《老虎》，並做成版畫，由先生逐一簽名，簽注版號共60件。
若干年後，我耐不住老友一再追求，想擁有先生一件老虎作品。我如實轉告給先生。先生笑語：「小方，當初可是你說的，這一件原作是非賣品呵！」
後來，這位老友終於如願所償。
幾年前在一場香港拍賣中，這件吳冠中的八平呎彩墨老虎以港幣一千三百多萬元成交。」
