woodblock print, triptych, each sheet signed Toyokuni ga (Pictured by Toyokuni), left sheet with censor’s seal kiwame (approved), published by Izumiya Ichibei (Kansendo), circa 1796; with collectors' seals Hayashi Tadamasa and H.V. to each sheet, with original Sotheby's paper sale folder depicting Henri Vever monogram
