Schicht Seife was a German soap popular in the early 20th Century. In true ‘Sachplakat’ style, Lucian Bernhard shows an image of a white cat reduced to a flat plane of colour, combined with dynamic typography. The cat, which bears a resemblance to Lagerfeld’s beloved ‘Choupette’, is cleaning itself, a clever nod to the function of the product.
