Rolex made many special order dials throughout the years for companies and individuals, and one of the most collectable types is what is referred to as the ‘Qaboos’ dial, bearing the signature of Qaboos bin Said al Said, the Sultan of Oman. The watch bearing the reference 1811 is also very unusual and rare due to the linen-textured pattern on the bezel and bracelet.
