The Nautilus stood the test of time to become one of the most sought-after timepieces in the world. While the model has been thoroughly associated with the ruggedness of stainless steel, Patek Philippe launched precious metal and two-tone versions of the Nautilus over the course of its existence.
In 2018, Patek Philippe took the collecting world by storm with the launch of the instantly legendary reference 5740. The very first perpetual calendar Nautilus ever released is crafted from solid 18k white gold and boasts a magnificent dial, showing a new shade of blue and white printing. Arguably one of Patek Philippe's signature grand complications, the perpetual calendar is by itself a highly praised feature.
Sold to Patek Philippe's most loyal clients, the reference 5740 is extremely difficult to acquire. The present example is in great condition and comes with a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, travel pouch and presentation case with outer packaging.
