One of the most popular vintage Speedmasters in the world, reference 2998 was the first Omega timepiece to be worn in space, venturing on the wrist of astronaut Wally Schirra in 1962. The present reference 2998-4 is an exceptional example, featuring the applied Omega logo on the dial, Alpha hands for the hours and minutes, and a small luminous spear at the tip of its chronograph hand.
