Conceptualized all the way back in 1912, the Malte is one of Vacheron Constantin's oldest and most traditional collection. The name "Malte" came from the brand's very own symbol - the cross of the Maltese knights, which signifies courage and honour.

In the year 2000, Vacheron Constantin launched the Malte Tourbillon and the present watch, the reference 30670 proves itself to be an outstanding example from the collection. The entire piece is lavishly decorated with baguette-cut and pavé-set diamonds from the dial to the case, offering a sensational touch to the wearer. The manual winding movement calibre 1790 on the other hand, is designed to have the same shape as the tonneau case, beating at 18,000 VPH and has a power reserve of 45 hours. One will notice the attention to details at the tourbillon carriage, which incorporates the Maltese cross to its design, a fine marriage between mechanical pride and traditional artistry. Last but not least, the sapphire crystal display back showcases the Geneva waves on movement, as well as the bevelled countersinks and polished screws. Indeed, the present watch symbolizes harmony and prestige on the wrist, and is the perfect combination of mechanical prowess, class and luxury.
