To celebrate the 240th anniversary of Vacheron Constantin in 1995, the reference 47240 was introduced. Featuring a tonneau-shaped case with its signature dropped lugs and an intricately decorated silvered dial, the reference 47240 is a watch of brilliant craftsmanship. The solid case back of the watch is further engraved with “240” marking the importance of the anniversary.
