A brand which symbolized reformation in its early days, Cartier represented many out of the ordinary designs for timepieces. The story of the Baignoire watch began in 1912, when Louis Cartier decided to stretch the traditional round case into an oval which granted its name the ‘Baignoire’, a bathtub in french. Being a cultural classic since then, the Baignoire was worn by some of the most stylish women, as the ultimate expression of elegant luxury.
The Baignoire S derived from the regular elliptical Baignoire case, yet featuring an asymmetrical shape, is a rendering of Cartier’s evolving design.
