Every year, Patek Philippe debuts its Rare Handcrafts Collection, which features extremely rare and exceptional pieces. Along with the Baccarat Crystal Dome Table Clocks, the collection in 2015 concentrates on the arts of enameling and haute joaillerie. This collection has 41 exquisite pieces, 20 of which are one-of-a-kind or limited-edition dome table clocks.
This dome table clock is created in collaboration with Baccarat. Another renowned artisan with remarkable talents comparable to those of Patek Philippe, it draws inspiration from the chandeliers created by the finest crystal glassmaker in France. The master engraver spent more than 40 hours hand-engraving the beveled diamond-cut for the cylindrical body and rosettes for the spherical surface.
