Rolex has been known to employ the use of bold materials for their watches of special importance. The present watch exemplifies a blue presence for its royal blue sodalite dial, baguette-cut sapphire-set bezel and blue strap. Hardstone dials are extremely delicate to work with, with the most minor imperfections resulting into the fracture of the dial.
