Created by Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, the Freak model features a carousel regulation with 7 day power reserve. Developed to be used without a winding crown or traditional hands, the escapement forms the minute indicator with hours displayed via a larger rotating triangular indicator with the entire movement revolving once an hour. The mainspring is wound by rotating the reverse and forms the entire case-back allowing for the unusual seven day power reserve, the time is set by rotating the bezel with a locking feature to prevent accidental correction.
