Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun had great admiration for the singer, whom she described in her Souvenirs:
'Madame Saint-Huberti not only had a superb voice, but she was also a great actress, and it was fortunate that she had to sing the operas of Piccini, Sacchini and Gluck, and this music, so beautiful and expressive, was perfectly suited to her talent, which was full of expression, truth and grandeur' (see letter VII to Princess Kourakin)

Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun vouait une grande admiration à la cantatrice qu'elle décrivit longuement dans ses Souvenirs :
"Madame Saint-Huberti non-seulement avait une voix superbe ; mais elle était encore grande actrice, le bonheur a voulu qu'elle eût à chanter les opéras de Piccini, de Sacchini, de Gluck, et cette musique si belle, si expressive, convenait parfaitement à son talent plein d'expression, de vérité et de grandiose."
