An important Louis XV clock au lion, circa 1750, the model attributed to Jean-Joseph de Saint-Germain (1719-1791)
gilt-bronze, patinated bronze and porcelain, with figure of a striding lion carrying the clock case encircled in trailing flowers, with an enamel dial, an anchor escapement and 1/2 hour striking on bell
