the back with a laurel branch cresting, the removable oval seat with a gadrooned border and an apron of roses above broad overlapping leaves, on tapering fluted legs, the underside with painted Garde Meuble numbers 'A/25707', 'P. 1389 [crossed out]', '295. [crossed out]', 'F/3165/76', stamped 'I.B. BOULARD', with a light blue cut velvet upholstery, the oil gilding apparently original
