A pair of large gilded electrotype covered beakers, probably Elkington & Co, Birmingham, circa 1885
after a German beaker at Rosenborg Castle, Copenhagen, tapering cylindrical and with auricular scrolls centring equestrian scenes, the detachable covers with cone finials, the rims engraved with German inscriptions dated 1635, one with remains of Elkington Department of Science & Art stamps
