A Limoges polychrome painted enamel plate depicting of the Month of September, Workshop of Pierre Reymond (1513-1584), circa 1570
the well inscribed in red .SEPTEMBRE., with the zodiacal sign of Scorpio to the top
the rim with the Chaspoux de Verneuil coat-of-arms, surrounded by foliate scrolls, strawberries and putti on chariots
the reverse inscribed NERON. LE. CREVL. SISZIEME. AMPEREUX, and with an old label inscribed BERNHEIMER MUNCHEN/1864 gegr.
