Two documents:


i) Louis XV. Bill with secretarial signature for the provision of food for the prisoners in the Bastille during February 1727, Versailles, 23 April 1727, 1 one page, 4to, browned at corner


ii) Jeanne Antoinette Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour. Autograph letter, unsigned, to an unidentified correspondent, saying that she is better but the skin on her face and neck is quite flushed, and referring to money for a charitable work, 1 page, 8vo, n.p., n.d., laid on paper, contemporary annotations at head and foot
