on the composition of the Russian delegation to the International Socialist Congress in Copenhagen, in Russian, 3 pages, 8vo, 23 July [19]10, stains, creases, weak at folds, tears with tape repairs

A RARE AUTOGRAPH LETTER BY GRIGORY ZINOVIEV, A PROMINENT BOLSHEVIK AND CLOSE ASSOCIATE OF LENIN. It was written in the lead-up to the eighth congress of the Second International, held in Copenhagen. The various factions of Russian socialism were to be represented, including both Lenin and Zinoviev but also representatives of the Mensheviks and Grigori Plekhanov, a prominent socialist writer who was deeply critical of the Bolsheviks. Zinoviev here expresses his hope that Plekhanov understands the need for solidarity.
