Iconic 80’s style custom made three-quarter length tan suede and shearling jacket with matching aviator hat, ca. 2007, the coat with zipper front closure and two interior pockets, the interior with green 'Milano / Roma - New York' label and 6X size according to interior tag, the length from shoulder to end approximately 37 in. (94 cm.), sleeve length from shoulder to wrist approximately 31 in. (78.7 cm.), some minor areas of rubbing to sleeves.

An innovative and much beloved rapper, producer, and beatboxer who was hailed the "Clown Prince of Hip Hop" by Rolling Stone, Biz Markie was a consummate showman with style and flair. Throughout his celebrated career, Biz had an extensive collection of custom luxury apparel made for him, worthy of his regal status in the realm of Hip Hop. The current lot represents a Hip Hop fashion classic - the shearling jacket. This 3/4 length suede and shearling coat with matching hat is stage worn as illustrated by the photo of Biz during his set at the J.A.M Awards and Concert in New York City on November 29, 2007.
