A Fabergé varicoloured gold and silver-mounted guilloché enamel clock, workmaster Michael Perkhin, St Petersburg, circa 1890


square, the surface enamelled in translucent green over concentric engine-turning applied with ribbon tied garlands of flowers, the bezel set with seed pearls, the border with a chased leaf motif, the circular strut with straight legs and applied scroll motifs, engraved with Cyrillic inscription and a feathered arrow, struck at the base with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, the mount struck with workmaster's initials and Imperial Warrant, 88 standard
