Gérald Genta was always able to imagine the best timepieces in the world for his prestigious clients across the globe. The present design is a perfect illustration of his quest. The watch itself represents a perpetual calendar minute repeater clock watch and was, at the time, one of the most complicated watches in the world, a highly complicated skeletonized piece. The highest precision needed to produce this most impressive movement equals the skills required to produce the oval-shaped case bearing three rows of baguette diamonds. The attention to preciosity is further demonstrated in the bow which also bears two rows of baguette diamonds.
