The Retro is one of the most iconic models created by Gérald Genta. It is instantly recognizable, and its versatility made many different adaptations possible. The present design is a very attractive example of a special commission of the Retro adapted for the Haqidah’s Polo tournament. As always, the maestro managed to integrate some key elements of the theme in his creation. The round aperture for the jump hours is the ball the polo player is about to strike with his mallet, thus indicating the minutes. Simple yet extremely elegant, this design shows how Gérald Genta is able to meet special requests from his clients with the highest attention to detail and quality.
