6¾-inch dial with rococo scroll spandrels, matted centre with date aperture, central alarm disc and signed on two recessed plaques Robert Henderson, London, three train fusee movement with six knopped pillars, verge escapement, trip repeat striking on a bell and chiming the quarters on a nest of eight bells, pull wound alarm acting on the hour bell, foliate engraved backplate, the case with bell top, brass carrying handle and brass flambeau finials above gilt door frets, moulded base and brass feet
