In 1996 Chopard started to produce watch movements again giving birth to the the L.U.C collection, named after its founder Louis Ulysse Chopard. Part of this collection, the present watch was introduced in 2012 and features an asymmetrical yet extremely balanced dial featuring a striking moonphase aperture. Cased in 18k white gold, the watch is powered by caliber 96.21L which can be admired through the sapphire display back. With a mini rotor that powers two stacked mainspring barrels - hence its Twin nickname- this movement allows for 65 hours power reserve and provides an astonishing accuracy to the moonphase function that only needs adjustment every 122 years.
