The Datejust is one of the best known pieces in Rolex's repertoire. Introduced in the 1940s, it was first exclusively produced in yellow gold but given its success Rolex soon started experimenting with different material variations.
The present example was manufactured in 1977 and features a rare and delightful brown dial, creating a perfect blend with the yellow gold Oyster case and Jubilee bracelet. The watch is powered by the later caliber 1575, stamped 1570 and includes a hack feature.
