The present lot belongs to the Collection Privée Cartier Paris (CPCP), which was launched in 1998 and inspired by historic Cartier designs. The calibre 045MC that powers the Tortue Monopoussoir was made by THA Ebauche founded in 1996, a collaborative movement Manufacture by Vianney Halter, Denis Flageollet and François-Paul Journe.

The white gold version of the Tortue Monopoussoir has a dial inspired by the early Art Deco period, including the blue elongated triangles decorating the angles, the scale with inverted "T"'s, the Cartier signature and oversized Roman numeral at 12 o'clock.

Presented with its presentation case and documents, this most attractive piece will be a superb addition to any serious collection.
