Circa 1900

• Movement: unsigned frosted gilded, lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance

• Dial: silver with sunburst engine-turned pattern, Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, signed Clairmont

• Case: silver and niello covers, each side depicting three horses within a rocky landscape, polished continental silver cuvette engraved with movement details and signed Clairmont, Chaux de Fonds, case and cuvette numbered 158091 and with Swiss control marks, with a short fetter and oval link watch chain terminating in a stamp vesta case in the form of a U.S. mail bag
